27 Ladies played in Captain Steve Sperring’s Captains day. The format was a 3 ball better ball with two nominated Joker holes which counted double points.
In the Ladies 1 st place was Bev Vann, Sue Roworth and Jill Hoskin with 90 points
In 2nd place was Jackie Mallett, Vicky Lee Comyn and Niki Wraight with 85 points
The longest drive was Dawn Emmerson and the Nearest the pin was won by Karen Furness
There were 4 x 2’s each receiving 7 balls.
Following the arrival of 4 parachutists onto the 1st tee entertainment was provided in the evening.
With drinks from St Austell Brewery and pasties from the Captain at half time, thanks to Mr Captain for a very pleasant day had by all.
