The day after the longest day, mid summer the scheduled EWGA Medal and 27 hole Challenge Trophy were postponed to the 10th August.
The weather was not Summer like but a 9 hole competition of Better Ball 2 scores to count was played.
The winning team with 38 points on countback was Angie Chapman, Karen Furness, Jacquie Lang and Lauren Hulston.
In 2nd place also with 38 points were Jo Rysdale, Karen Greenwood and Vera Eade.
In 3rd place with 37 points were Debbie Douglas, Jane Rowse, Sandra Loomes and Birgitta Varcoe.
Our Vice Captain, Sara Taylor announced that she has asked Jacquie Lang to be her Vice Captain and Jacquie has agreed. Congratulations to Jacquie.
