10 Ladies from Perranporth entered the CLCGA Championships at Tehidy.In the 36 hole qualifying Danielle qualified 1st with gross scores of 73 & 77.
Olivia qualified 3rd with gross scores of 85 & 74. Nikki qualified 10th with gross scores of 83 & 89 one ahead of Vicky who scored 88 & 85. These scores were good enough for Perranporth to win the Western Morning News Cup with a total of 654 ahead of St Enodoc in 2nd place with a total of 695..
In the second 16, Cheryl and Vera qualified to go into the matchplay round of the plate competition. Jackie Mallett scored well enough to also qualify but was unable to play on.
Danielle was 2nd in the Judy Taylor Cup for the best nett scores for 36 holes by a player under 25, just ahead of Olivia.
Danielle won the Rowe Cup for the best AM gross score by a player under 23.
Vicky won the Oliver Cup for the best gross 36 holes for over 55 years of age, total of 173.
