The last couple of weeks have been busy for the teams from Perranporth Ladies Section. There was an away win in the CLCGA League against Newquay a loss against Falmouth (away).
The remaining Annodata team went to play West Cornwall and came away with a win on the 19th. The draw put the team against Creigiau Golf Club from Wales. This match was played on the 11th August after the Club Golf Shop competition in wet and windy weather. The team of Michelle, Angie, Jan ,Vicky and Jackie. The team won 4-1 and now go forward to the Regional final, the winner of that will go to Spain in November for the Grand Final.
The following day was the Gammon Semi Final match against Launceston at St Austell Golf Club. The team was Danielle Price, Olivia Trewhela, Nikki Hodge, Jan Sargeant, Jo Rysdale, Angie Chapman and Vicky Lee Comyn. The team played very well with a 6-1 win and go forward into the Gammon Final on the 9th September at Trevose against Tehidy who beat St Mellion 4.5-2.5at Falmouth.
Thanks to all the caddies in both the weekends matches and the supporters that turned out in the unseasonable weather.
