A record entry field of 40 players for the Memorial Day Stableford all playing for the Geraldine Wallman Trophy.
It was overcast with the odd drops of rain and a still breeze from the back of the course which made for tricky conditions. The CSS was 74.
With such a big field the prizes went to 7th place and Front and Back 9 prizes for both Silver and Bronze divisions.
In 1st place and winning the Geraldine Wallman Trophy was Danielle Price with 35 points.
In 2nd place on countback with 34 points was Birgitta Varcoe.
In 3rd place also with 34 points was Nova Cauwels Wigan.
In 4th place on countback with 32 points was Jane Rowse
In 5th place also on countback with 32 points was Jackie Mallett.
In 6th place also on countback with 32 points was Rosie B Bareham
In 7th place also with 32 points was Jan Sargeant.
In Silver the best front 9 was Bev Vann and the best back 9 was Jane Barrington
In Bronze the best front 9 was Jacquie Lang and the best back 9 was Michelle McLaughlin
There was only one gross 2, Vera Eade on the 16th.
