The skies were blue, the sun was shining and if the the wind had stopped it would have been too hot, so a good day for Ladies Open Day.
57 Ladies played in the 3 man team event.
There were 5 Two’s each receiving 9 balls.
In 1st place winning the Ladies Cup with 79 points were Vera Eade, Niki Wraight and Debbie Douglas
In 2nd place with 78 points were Jackie Mallett, Danielle Price and Sarah Shobrook.
In 3rd place with 77 points on countback were Liz Gillman, Christine Fogarty and Rosie Broger Bareham.
In 4th place also with 77 points were Jane Barrington , Mo Hammond and Carmel Connors.
In 5th place with 75 points were Jacquie Lang, Jenny Potter and Mandy Wright.
Best Visiting Team were Margaret Richards, Elaine Barbour and Melanie Pepper.
Best Front 9 were Margaret Oliver, Sue Carvethand Karen Greenwood.
Best Back 9 were Vicky Lee Comyn, Dee Peake and Jean Ann Evers.
Longest Drive Silver was Jane Barrington
Longest Drive Bronze was Liz Gillman
Nearest the pin on the 6th was Sue Carveth.
There was a very enjoyable meal afterwards .
