92 Ladies from 23 Clubs played in the Inter Club Handicap Shield at Mullion on Thursday. It was dry and sunny but quite breezy. There were plenty of places for the ball to hide so the rounds were long.
Perranporth team of Jacquie Lang, Jill Hoskin, Rosie Bareham and Liz Gillman played and the team score for the best 3 scores was 240. It might be true to say they all played 16 or 17 holes really well but the course attacked them on the other 1 or 2. Rosie had a very good net 75.
In 1st place on a countback using the 4th card was Mullion with a score of 228
In 2nd place also with a score of 228 was Killiow
Launceston were 3rd with a score of 231
The Best gross cup, Andrews Bowl was won by Linda Dunford from Praa Sands with a gross 90
1st handicap prize was Sue Jones from StEnodoc with a 101-31-70
There were 5 x 2’s each receiving 15 balls each
