Just over 70 Ladies attended the CLCGA EGM at Killiow on the 25th February to approve the changes to the Rules of the Association that the Committee had suggested.
These rules changes were more of a formality to adjust the wording of some of the rules and will bring the Association into to line with new guidelines set out by Golf England.
Also a change in affiliation fees was approved. This was needed as the Association is presently running at a loss and steps needed to be taken to address this. The individual affiliation fee will go up by £1 to £6 next year and again the following year to £7. The Clubs will also be asked to pay an increased affiliation fee of £25.
Both the proposals were passed unanimously.
