The final of the CLCGA Vice Presidents Cup was played at Carlyon Bay Golf Club on Monday 8th October. It was between Pauline Meradith( 19 h/cap) from St Enodoc and Kim Mundy ( 17 h/cap) of Perranporth.
The weather was misty but quite warm. Kim got off to a very good start and was 3up after 5 holes. Holes were then exchanged with Pauline coming back to be 1 down after 14. Kim then won the next hole, halved 16 and won the 17th to win the match 3 & 1. The standard of the golf was very good and a credit to both players.
Congratulations to Kim who had the trophy presented to her by County Captain Jean Read.
It was good to see the trusty band of supporters there to watch and support Kim.
